The aim is to reduce financial barriers and accelerate the digital transformation process at the Vienna location. Projects based on a comprehensible digitization plan and with a minimum size of €10,000 are eligible for funding. With a funding rate of 50% and a maximum grant amount of €50,000 per project, companies can cover costs for the development and implementation of digital solutions, training and qualification measures, external consulting, necessary hardware, machinery, digital systems, as well as software and licenses.
Eligible to participate are SMEs from any industry, provided that their value-adding activities are predominantly carried out at the Vienna business location. Individual measures without a holistic digitization approach are excluded. The selection process follows the competitive principle and takes place quarterly; submissions are continuously possible until 31.12.2026, with cut-off dates on March 31, June 30, September 30, and December 31. The application must include an application confirmation, a de minimis declaration, the most recent annual financial statement or income-expenditure statement, as well as cost estimates for items from €10,000 net. The maximum project duration is 24 months, during which all expenses must have been incurred. Through this grant, Viennese SMEs receive valuable support in their digital advancement, thereby strengthening their competitiveness in the long term.
