Funding by the Damm | Rumpf | Hering Foundation Children's Aid

The Damm | Rumpf | Hering Foundation for Child Aid is committed in Saxony to enabling a better future for socially disadvantaged children and adolescents. Focusing on projects in the areas of children and youth, social affairs, as well as work & social issues, the foundation, as a non-profit organization, grants financial subsidies of up to €10,000 per application. Projects supported are those that promote sustainable integration into the social community. The funding concept includes both the establishment of after-school care facilities and direct financial assistance to precisely cover individual needs. This initiative is continuously offered, with applications accepted in writing on an ongoing basis.

The application documents must include a detailed project description, highlighting among other things the planned timeframe, the number of children and adolescents involved, and the anticipated individual needs. A complete cost plan listing all sources of financing constitutes another central element. The foundation places great importance on all submitted projects meeting the requirements regarding transparency and public impact. Furthermore, applicants are required to provide their contact details such as name, address, telephone number, and, if available, email address. This ensures transparency and traceability throughout the further selection process.

Funding is exclusively available to non-profit organizations already engaged in social work and is explicitly aimed at projects that provide support to young people in precarious life situations. The written application forms the basis for evaluation, which is conducted based on the completeness of the project description, the cost plan, and the potential public impact. By specifically funding individual projects implemented within a predefined timeframe, the principle of finiteness is emphasized at the latest. The foundation explicitly does not pursue institutional funding but focuses on targeted measures that directly benefit disadvantaged children and adolescents.
