Description
The Foundation of the Savings Bank of the Homburg Communities has been supporting a variety of projects for years that advance cultural, charitable, benevolent, and ecclesiastical purposes. Taking tax-privileged initiatives into account, the foundation specifically provides financial grants to sustainably support initiatives in the fields of art, culture, social affairs, as well as construction and monument preservation. The funding offer is aimed at non-profit organizations, associations, and church institutions implementing projects in the regions of Nümbrecht and Wiehl. The support includes, among other things, measures in healthcare, youth and elderly care, as well as in the education sector and social assistance. Applications can be submitted both online and by mail. In addition to the funding application, documents such as a copy of the statutes, an extract from the register of associations, and a current tax exemption certificate must be provided.
The foundation pursues the goal of realizing tax-privileged projects with the provided funds that contribute to the preservation and promotion of cultural values and the strengthening of social cohesion. Projects distinguished, for example, by innovative approaches in the cultural sector, the preservation of historic buildings, or the promotion of educational measures are given special consideration. The established application deadlines on March 31 and September 30 each year enable continuous submission of funding applications. The initiative is exclusively open to non-profit organizations and thus contributes to the sustainable development of regional infrastructure and cultural life. Through its support, not only are the cultural and historical treasures of the region protected, but also social projects are supported whose positive impact is tangible in the public sphere. The foundation thus demonstrates its commitment to an inclusive, forward-looking, and socially relevant development within the community.
