Description
The Pro-Region Airport Foundation for the Promotion of Vocational Education (Stiftung ProRegion) supports non-profit and public institutions as well as educational providers in Hesse through grants for projects related to vocational education, qualification, and career orientation. In particular, measures that strengthen adolescents and young adults with special support needs in their social and professional integration are funded. These include training positions, career-oriented parental involvement, educational offerings to expand language, technical, and social skills, as well as projects for the democratic education of young people. Material resources directly related to qualification measures and necessary for the success of the project can also be subsidized. The continuous funding opportunity allows for flexible application submissions, enabling initiatives to respond promptly to local requirements.
Eligible for funding are non-profit organizations, church bodies, and municipal authorities active in the Rhine-Main region that create additional training positions or secure existing capacities. Application documents must include information about the implementing organization, target group description, funding subject, funding period, as well as a cost and financing plan including the current tax exemption certificate. Written applications can be submitted at any time; in individual cases, co-financing of already started projects is possible. The funding objective is the sustainable reduction of social disadvantages, the strengthening of individual competencies, and the securing of long-term training prospects. Stiftung ProRegion thus contributes to social participation and supports young people on their path to a self-determined and democratically shaped working environment.
