Description

With a non-repayable grant, the state of Burgenland continuously supports projects that noticeably improve everyday family life. The focus is on measures to better reconcile family and work, the recognition of family work, and the enhancement of the quality of life for parents, children, and socially disadvantaged families. Both one-time and long-term initiatives are funded, covering classic administrative and material costs beyond public relations, investments, travel expenses, and operating costs. The program adheres to the principles of economy, efficiency, and appropriateness: project proposals must make a clear contribution to family policy and must not primarily serve commercial purposes.

The program is addressed to families of all kinds as well as associations, interest groups, non-profit organizations, public institutions, and companies based in or operating in Burgenland. To enable applicants to submit a tailored plan, a concept, a detailed financing plan, and a cost breakdown must be provided. Project funding is not bound to fixed deadlines – applications can be submitted continuously. Acceptance of the funding guidelines and proper accounting of previously funded measures are prerequisites. Delays or changes in the project schedule must be reported immediately. Interested project sponsors are encouraged to submit their family-relevant ideas and thus make a direct contribution to the future viability of Burgenland as a family location.
