Funding for the Equipment and Maintenance of the State Firefighters Association

The funding for the equipment and maintenance of the Burgenland State Fire Brigade Association supports public institutions in Burgenland in covering essential costs in the areas of disaster protection as well as labor & social affairs. Eligible expenses include personnel costs, building costs, fixed course costs, equipment, and the maintenance of the disaster protection warehouse. The grant is provided continuously in the form of a subsidy and is aimed at members and units of the State Fire Brigade Association, including affiliated volunteer fire brigades and their personnel. This sustainably strengthens the operational readiness of the fire brigades and ensures a secure infrastructure for disaster protection.

A prerequisite for funding is membership in the Burgenland State Fire Brigade Association. Eligible expenses in detail include: personnel costs, building costs, fixed course costs, equipment, and disaster protection warehouse. For the application, a financial statement, copies of the underlying invoices, and proof of payment transactions must be submitted. With a total budget of 2.75 million euros, this program makes a significant contribution to securing the operational effectiveness and training quality of disaster protection in Burgenland in the long term.
