Description
The funding for the equipment and maintenance of the State Fire Brigade Association is directed at the Burgenland State Fire Brigade Association as the umbrella organization of the fire brigades in Burgenland and is granted as a direct subsidy. Under the sponsorship of the State of Burgenland, a total volume of 2.75 million euros is available, which can be continuously applied for from 01.01.2014 until the budget is exhausted. The program contributes to strengthening the effectiveness in disaster control and consolidating social security mechanisms within the emergency organization.
Personnel costs, building costs, fixed course costs, as well as the acquisition of equipment and the establishment of disaster control warehouses are funded. A resolution and approval of the budget estimate with the respective requirement profile for the fiscal year is a prerequisite. The budget estimate prepared by the association over the fiscal year serves as proof. This measure offers public institutions in disaster control the opportunity to sustainably secure investments and maintain personnel as well as infrastructural capacities in the long term.
