Description

Within the framework of the "Contribution-Free Kindergarten" model, the City of Vienna supports officially approved integration groups that accompany children with disabilities until the start of compulsory schooling. The funding is exclusively aimed at non-profit organizations, educational institutions, or public providers with a valid funding contract under the "Contribution-Free Kindergarten" model and a concluded funding agreement with the City of Vienna – Kindergartens (MA10). The goal is to optimize the early childhood education offering through inclusive structures and to increase the level of care for children with disabilities. For each approved child, a monthly subsidy of €1,001.57 is granted, with a maximum number of 100 integration places envisaged. The funding covers a project duration of 48 months and applies from 01.09.2022 to 31.08.2026.

Various documents are required for the application, including the operating permit decision of child and youth welfare, the opening notification, documents on personnel and organizational planning, as well as decisions regarding entitlement to increased family allowance. A detailed pedagogical and special educational concept with professional expert knowledge is also a prerequisite, as is proof of existing rental rights and valid association statutes. Submission is exclusively online and must be made within the deadline by the end of the funding period. Provider organizations benefit from a transparently regulated funding procedure that consistently combines early childhood educational quality and inclusion.
