Description
The Starthaus coaching program offers technology- and knowledge-based start-ups in Bremen tailored support during the twelve-month start-up preparation phase. Participants receive practical qualification and consulting services in the areas of business planning, basic business administration knowledge, as well as marketing, acquisition, and sales training. The offer is complemented by social skills training, regular feedback sessions, and a peer group approach with networking opportunities. The program is aimed at idea holders with completed vocational training or (technical) university degrees who pursue a concrete start-up idea and have not yet taken significant steps toward founding. A prerequisite is an annual turnover of less than EUR 10,000 to date and the firm intention to establish the company in Bremen.
Furthermore, funded founders can apply for financial support of up to EUR 8,500 as subsistence aid. The funding amount is granted exclusively in connection with the aforementioned coaching and qualification modules. Applications must be submitted to Bremer Aufbau-Bank GmbH by January 31 and August 31 each year; a short application, a CV, and a six-page project description are required. The goal is to strengthen the professionalism and innovative strength of young companies and to support the path to self-employment in a structured and well-founded manner.
