Description
The FVR Foundation "Football Helps!" – The Foundation of the Rhineland Football Association strengthens the international exchange of young football enthusiasts in North Rhine-Westphalia and Rhineland-Palatinate. Contact persons in non-profit clubs of the Rhineland Football Association can now apply for financial grants for international youth encounters. The goal is to promote intercultural understanding and sporting fairness among participants up to 18 years of age. Applications are submitted easily online and can be made continuously until the annual funding budget is exhausted. Allocation is based on the order of application receipt, ensuring a prompt decision and transparent awarding process.
Funding is provided for stays abroad by youth teams at €3 per person per day within Europe and €5 per person per day outside Europe. For every seven youth players, one supervisor is supported to the same extent. Requirements include membership in the Rhineland Football Association and prior application submission before the start of the measure. After completion, a fully completed participant list must be submitted within eight weeks for payment to be made. The required documents – the online application form and the participant list – are available for download on the Foundation’s website. This funding initiative creates valuable opportunities for encounters, strengthens team spirit, and lays the foundation for international friendships in amateur football.
