Description
The Thuringian State Youth Promotion Plan (RL-LJFP) provides financial grants to non-profit providers of independent youth welfare in Thuringia for projects with a supra-regional focus. Funding is provided primarily for measures in extracurricular youth education, cultural youth work, and child and youth recreation, as well as large-scale events with a youth-political emphasis and international youth work. Youth association work also receives support. The type of funding used is a non-repayable grant. Applications for the following year must usually be submitted to the Thuringian State Administration Office (TLVwA) by November 30; projects in the areas of extracurricular youth education and international youth work must be applied for at least eight weeks before the start.
With this program, the Free State aims to strengthen the participation of young people, promote intercultural encounters, and expand the professional and organizational competencies of participants and experts. A prerequisite is recognition by the Thuringian Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports as well as the inclusion of the measure in the valid State Youth Promotion Plan. Furthermore, the projects must have an explicitly supra-regional character. For the application, among other documents, the funding guideline (as of 07/04/2023), the explanatory notes on the LJFP 2023–2025 guideline, the annexes ANBest-P and ANBest-Gk, as well as the youth welfare application form are required. The funding creates lasting networks among the providers and sustainable effects in youth work in Thuringia. Interested institutions receive detailed information in the provided guideline documents and can thus implement their project ideas in a targeted manner.
