Funding according to the funding guidelines of the Gregor Louisoder Environmental Foundation

The Gregor Louisoder Environmental Foundation supports projects nationwide in the fields of environmental and nature conservation, climate protection, education for sustainable development, as well as energy efficiency and further training with earmarked grants. Funding is provided to non-profit organizations, educational institutions, foundations, companies, interest groups, and public institutions that distinguish themselves through a clear environmental or nature conservation profile. Both personnel expenses and material costs are funded; for long-term projects, multi-year commitments are possible. A detailed financial plan, the obligation to provide regular reports and project evaluations, as well as the inclusion of the funding logo in publications and online appearances are central prerequisites for funding.

Currently, no thematic calls for proposals are open; however, interested institutions can prepare for future funding cycles. Evaluation is based on alignment with the guidelines, the sustainability and impact of the project, as well as budget transparency. Project-related use of funds is binding and subject to approval by the foundation in case of deviations. A final accounting and a project report must be submitted upon completion.
