Description
The funding of naturopathic treatments and projects by the Osterhof Foundation is committed nationwide to reducing access barriers to complementary therapy methods. For over 25 years, both private individuals with medical indications and institutions as well as non-profit organizations that offer or enable naturopathic procedures have been supported. Eligible applicants include not only individuals but also public institutions that can demonstrably not receive sufficient cost reimbursement from health insurance or third parties. The foundation continuously awards grants without fixed submission deadlines and supports projects in the fields of health as well as work & social affairs. A prerequisite for funding is proof of a medical indication as well as a lack of cost coverage – ensuring that funds reach exactly where they are urgently needed.
With the aim of reducing health-related and psychosocial burdens, the Osterhof Foundation specifically promotes the use of naturopathic therapies that would otherwise not be or only partially financed. Through financial support, new perspectives arise for people in challenging life situations and institutions that integrate alternative healing methods, such as phytotherapy, hydrotherapy, or movement therapies, into their care concepts. The allocation is carried out transparently and earmarked, achieving long-term impact and sustainable relief. Interested applicants from all regions of Germany can submit an application at any time and thus contribute to a holistic understanding of health.
