Description
The Tourism Destination Funding in Vorarlberg is aimed at non-profit destination management organizations of the Alpine region Bludenz, the Arlberg, Lake Constance-Vorarlberg, Bregenzerwald, Kleinwalsertal, and Montafon. As a continuously available grant measure since 01.01.2013 without a time limit, it offers financial incentives for the conception and realization of innovative flagship products and flagship projects. The goal is to create high-quality, bookable local offers and to sustainably strengthen regional competitiveness. Basic funding is provided based on performance agreements, while project-related funds are awarded upon submission of a written funding application with a detailed project plan. Up to €100,000 can be requested per project, with a maximum disbursement of €70,000 per year and a minimum project sum of €20,000.
For project funding, a comprehensive project plan must be submitted, covering the following components: objectives, project organization, project structure plan, milestone and schedule plan, as well as cost and financing overview. The application procedure is open year-round and allows flexible project development according to regional needs. The final report and closing accounting are reviewed within the framework of evaluation discussions. Through this funding initiative, non-profit organizations in Vorarlberg receive a tailored toolkit to establish future-oriented offers and contribute sustainably to increasing the attractiveness of the destinations.
