Funding of meeting cafés

The program for the promotion of encounter cafés in Rhineland-Palatinate supports the sustainable establishment of meeting places that are central to integration and social cohesion efforts. The infrastructure of such cafés is strengthened to create a place of encounter for people of different origins and cultural backgrounds. The initiation and management of these encounter cafés take place within the framework of a grant program aimed at non-profit organizations as well as public institutions. The focus of the funding program is the targeted support of measures in the areas of migration, labor & social affairs. With a funding amount of up to €12,000 per year, municipalities, associations, and federations are supported in operating or newly initiating encounter cafés. The ongoing application process allows eligible institutions to continuously access this support and expand their offerings in the long term.
