Description
Support for Agricultural and Horticultural Advisory Services
This program supports agricultural, horticultural, and forestry enterprises in Brandenburg in accessing professionally sound advisory services in the areas of environmental, nature, and climate protection, animal welfare, as well as socio-economic business management. The funding is provided as a fully financed grant of up to €85 per advisory hour (each commenced half hour billable) without a cap, with up to 100% public financing. Eligible costs include exclusively the advisory fees of recognized advisory experts, who must be registered as professionally qualified with the LELF prior to the start of the advisory service. Both individual consultations and small group consultations (3 to 12 enterprises) can be funded. The application procedure is continuously open; the eligible advisory period begins on February 5, 2024. Applications are submitted informally by sending the advisory contract, a “proof of incentive effect,” and the advisory report by email to beratungsfoerderung@lelf.brandenburg.de. The combined funding and payment application, including all supporting documents and evidence in copy, must subsequently be submitted by post and received by the approval authority no later than six months after the advisory service is completed.
Visibility and Communication Obligations
Funded enterprises and advisory organizations are obliged to make the use of ELER funds transparent. This includes the use of the EU logo (“Co-financed by the European Union”) as well as a reference to the “European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development” on all communication materials, websites, or social media channels. For investments of €50,000 or more, a durable explanatory plaque must be publicly and prominently displayed. The specifications regarding the design, size, and placement of the plaques are documented on the ELER website. Compliance with the information and visibility obligations is checked during the accounting process and is a prerequisite for the disbursement of funds.
