Description
The funding program "Support for Operational Consultations to Increase Resource Efficiency" in Rhineland-Palatinate supports small and medium-sized enterprises, public institutions, and municipal companies in implementing external consulting services to enhance resource efficiency, apply the waste hierarchy, and develop resource-optimized business models. Technical, organizational, economic, and strategic issues related to energy efficiency, renewable energies, digitalization, and climate protection are funded. With a funding rate of up to 80% of eligible expenses – a maximum of €8,000 per company – consulting days (up to €1,000 per day) and other external consulting costs are subsidized. The program is financed by the Ministry for Climate Protection, Environment, Energy and Mobility of the State of Rhineland-Palatinate and is continuously announced.
Eligible for funding are natural and legal persons under private law as well as municipal companies that carry out their consulting measures based on VDI Guideline 4075 at a Rhineland-Palatinate business location or branch and begin only after the issuance of the funding approval. Free selection of qualified consulting firms ensures tailored support by experienced experts. Applications can be submitted at any time before the start of the measure. The goal is to identify sustainable energy and resource savings potentials for companies, facilitate the implementation of waste management requirements, thereby reducing costs in the long term and lowering CO₂ emissions. Interested companies receive comprehensive information from the State Office for the Environment Rhineland-Palatinate and can thus strengthen their competitiveness in a future-oriented market environment.
