Description

As a nationwide available funding instrument, the program enables participation in training and continuing education, vocational orientation, and training measures for labor market policy target groups in Austria. It aims to reduce qualification deficits and sustainably pave the way into the labor market. The thematic areas of education as well as training & continuing education cover professional qualifications, basic training, and individual counseling formats. Additionally, it supports measures for active job search that facilitate direct access to job offers and accelerate the transition into employment. The funds are provided as a grant and can be applied for continuously from 01.01.2013 until the budget is exhausted. The offer is oriented towards current labor market requirements and thus sustainably supports placement opportunities.

Eligible for funding are companies, non-profit organizations, educational institutions, and public institutions, provided they act as education providers commissioned by the Public Employment Service and comply with the provisions of the Federal Procurement Act. The offer is aimed at persons belonging to a labor market policy target group whose qualification gaps hinder the professional integration process. The providers commit to establishing appropriate quality management and demonstrating compliance with the funding criteria. Support by experts ensures a needs-based implementation of the measures. There is no specific application deadline, as the duration extends until the available volume is exhausted, ensuring maximum flexibility. Detailed information on application modalities and requirements is available on the AMS websites, which act as the central processing office.
