Description
With the funding of digitization measures and STEM initiatives in the education sector, the State of Tyrol supports projects in the areas of early childhood education as well as general education. Projects from the fields of digitization and STEM that make a significant contribution to the further development of the Tyrolean educational landscape are eligible for funding. Eligible applicants include, in addition to public institutions, companies, interest groups, foundations, and non-profit organizations. The funding primarily targets compulsory schools, early childhood education and care facilities, as well as other educational institutions in Tyrol. With a funding rate of 100%, both personnel expenses and material costs can be covered, provided the project is not aimed at private profit and there is no double funding. Applications must be submitted continuously before the start of the respective measures; the guideline is valid from September 11, 2024, until further notice.
For the application, a content-related project description, a detailed cost and financing breakdown, as well as proof of already applied for or granted funding must be attached. The review is carried out in the order of receipt of complete documents at the Department of Early Childhood Education and General Education of the Office of the Tyrolean State Government. Upon positive approval, one-time or multiple grants can be awarded and paid out in installments. This initiative offers Tyrolean educational institutions and partners the opportunity to implement innovative digital solutions and STEM offerings, thereby setting pioneering impulses for sustainable education in the region.
