Description
In the federal state of Vorarlberg, mobile home nursing care is the focus of this attractive funding measure, which specifically targets businesses, non-profit organizations, and public institutions. As a continuously applicable direct grant, it supports specialized services that deploy medically trained nursing staff into the familiar home environment of ill and care-dependent individuals. The funding volume enables the assurance of comprehensive care services, expert advice on nursing and care issues at the place of residence, as well as the provision of nursing beds and assistive devices. Close cooperation with general practitioners, outpatient services, nursing homes, hospitals, and other local partners ensures optimal care and integration into existing care structures.
The grant-based funding is thematically aligned with the areas of social affairs, health, and work & social affairs, focusing on the sustainable strengthening of the home care infrastructure. The target group comprises sick and care-dependent persons who rely on professionally qualified care in their own homes. Application requirements include, among others, proof of professional qualifications for mobile home nursing care, provision of comprehensive care services, advice on nursing and care at home, provision of qualified personnel, mediation of nursing beds and assistive devices, as well as collaboration with general practitioners and other outpatient services. For funding approval, a business plan, balance sheet and accounting, an activity report, and a service agreement must be submitted. Thanks to an unlimited deadline, funding applications have been able to be submitted and implemented continuously since 01.01.2013, thereby sustainably improving the quality of life for affected families and further developing the care landscape in Vorarlberg.
