Funding objective
Reduction of climate- and health-damaging emissions as well as the decrease in the use of non-renewable resources through the promotion of electromobility in residential buildings. At the same time, value creation in the region is to be increased, technology development promoted, and employment secured.

Description
The funding initiative “Electromobility – Load Management Systems and Intelligent E-Charging Stations” of the Styrian State Government offers private applicants a one-time grant of up to 30% of the eligible investment costs. Funding is provided for dynamic load management systems in residential buildings with more than four housing units or at least ten parking spaces on the one hand, and on the other hand for three-phase, intelligent e-charging stations (wallboxes) with a minimum output of 11 kW for e-cars registered in Styria. Applications can only be submitted online during the funding period from January 1 to December 31, 2026, after delivery, installation, and invoicing within six months from the invoice date. Payment is contingent upon compliance with all guideline requirements.
The program’s objective is to reduce climate- and health-damaging emissions, conserve non-renewable resources, and strengthen regional value creation and technology development. Applicants must provide proof of the use of green electricity or a PV system (≥ 1.5 kWp per charging point) and operate the funded system for at least seven years. For application processing, among other documents, a valid photo ID, invoices with proof of payment, the complete land register excerpt, as well as execution and initial inspection certificates from the electrical company must be submitted. Submission and processing are carried out via the eGovernment form of Department 15 Energy, Housing, Technology in Graz.
