Description
The funding supports non-profit organizations in establishing and operating parent-child centers in Burgenland. The goal is to integrate parents—and single parents—as well as other caregivers of children into meeting spaces through a continuous annual program, facilitating exchange among participants as well as play and learning in age-appropriate group offerings. As a family policy measure, the grant contributes to strengthening social infrastructure and eases the balance between work and family life. Participants benefit from open meeting points, workshops, courses, and informational events where professionals with relevant qualifications provide guidance on parenting issues, leisure activities, and health promotion.
Eligible applicants must serve a non-profit purpose, have a registered office in Burgenland, and possess publicly accessible, barrier-free premises. Additionally, at least one primary responsible contact person must be available on site. A year-round program with a minimum of 120 hours of opening times, including group and educational offerings, forms the basis for the funding approval. The annual funding amount is €2,000 and is disbursed upon submission of all required documentation. Necessary documents include, among others, an extract from the Central Register of Associations, the building permit decision, designation of the contact person, the year-round program, and a justification of need. Applications may be submitted at any time to the Office of the Burgenland Provincial Government – Department 9. A written confirmation of receipt and the funding conditions remain valid as long as budgetary funds are available.
