Description

The promotion of energy-saving measures and renewable energy sources supports commercial enterprises located in Tyrol in saving energy and operating sustainably. Projects in the areas of solar systems, thermal building renovation, heat pumps, operational energy-saving measures (e.g., heat recovery, heating and lighting optimization), as well as electricity generation in off-grid locations (photovoltaics, small hydropower, wind power) are eligible for funding. Eligible applicants are small and medium-sized enterprises belonging to the commercial sector or holding a valid trade license according to the Trade Regulation Act. The program complements existing federal funding, including EU subsidies, and aims at a significant reduction in energy consumption and the strengthening of sustainable energy use.

The funding is provided as a non-repayable one-time grant of up to 30% of the eligible investment costs. Covered expenses include acquisition, installation, and optimization of the mentioned technologies. Applications can be submitted between March 1, 2024, and December 31, 2027, via Kommunalkredit Public Consulting (KPC), whereby the state application is simultaneously submitted with the application form. Required documents include the valid guideline and the completed application form; the final review and disbursement are carried out by the Department of Economic Promotion and Funding Transparency of the State of Tyrol. Companies active in Tyrol can thus invest cost-effectively in climate-friendly investments and sustainably increase their competitiveness in the long term.
