Description
The funding of holiday care programs in Burgenland is aimed at non-profit organizations and public institutions based in Burgenland that offer care activities for children up to 14 years old during school holidays. The purpose of the grant is to relieve working parents, especially single parents, through a child-appropriate care program in small groups (maximum 25 children). Prerequisites for funding include non-profit activity, suitable premises (e.g., school, kindergarten), pedagogically qualified staff, as well as socially tiered parental contributions. Inclusive care services and full-day programs (Monday–Thursday 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m., Friday 8:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m.) are given special consideration.
100% of uncovered financial expenses are funded, including catering costs as well as special offers such as excursions or sports activities. Up to €350 per group and week are available, and up to €500 for inclusive or full-day care. Value-added tax is not reimbursable. Applications can be submitted at any time but must be submitted no later than six months after the end of the holiday care. The funding application must be accompanied by the official application and accounting form, the income-expenditure statement, original invoices and proof of payment, qualification certificates of the care personnel, and a care program including details on the number, age, and place of residence of the participants.
