Grants of up to €1,000 primarily serve as seed funding, complemented by professional advice, the provision of experts, and thematic seminars. Eligible for funding are registered associations, interest groups, and public institutions that have their headquarters in Hemmingen, pursue a sustainable, future-oriented project character, and fulfill the statutory objectives of the foundation. Applications can be submitted at any time, as the Citizens' Foundation continuously supports new project ideas.
The selection focuses on model and exemplary character, local implementation, voluntary participation, self-help, and cooperation with local institutions. Projects that are already ongoing or completed, sponsored events, mandatory tasks of the state or municipality, and large-scale projects with high capital requirements are not eligible for funding. To apply, a completed funding application, a detailed project description, and documents in accordance with the funding guidelines must be submitted. Through this program, the Hemmingen Citizens' Foundation makes an important contribution to strengthening civic engagement and sustainably promotes social cohesion on site.
