Description

In the Euroregion Tyrol-South Tyrol-Trentino, a continuously available funding program supports educational institutions in North and East Tyrol in cross-border educational projects. The aim is to organize events for European information and strengthening European awareness, intensive work on shared values, as well as cross-border school partnerships and excursions for students and teachers at secondary schools. The program is aimed at classes, teaching staff, and other educational organizations that implement intercultural projects in cooperation with partners from South Tyrol or Trentino, thereby promoting social cohesion.

The funding covers a grant for travel expenses (bus or train), accommodation and meal costs, as well as project-related expenses. A prerequisite is the submission of an application at least one month before the project start, an educational concept with EU topics, and the eligibility of students and teachers at secondary schools. To apply, a completed online form, a detailed project description including a cost and financing plan, original payment receipts, as well as a final short report with photos and proof of publicity measures must be submitted. Interested educational institutions benefit from the opportunity to actively involve their students in European exchange and to build sustainable partnerships within the Euregio Tyrol-South Tyrol-Trentino.
