Description

With the WiSoVET program, the Federal Ministry of Education and Research supports the operational implementation of bilateral vocational education and training cooperation through chamber and employee organizations. Nationwide, individual and joint projects are eligible for funding if they aim at the development and testing of company-based training and further education programs, cooperative curricula, competency-oriented examination models, as well as participation procedures of the social partners. Accompanying this, a meta-measure for the professional support of umbrella organizations is financed. Funding is possible for a project duration of up to 36 months, covering up to 100% of eligible expenses. The guideline is valid until December 31, 2029; applications are submitted by invitation to the DLR Project Management Agency via easy-Online.

Eligible to apply are chamber organizations and their institutions (e.g., foreign chambers of commerce, chambers of industry and commerce, and chambers of crafts), DGB districts and regions, affiliated trade unions, as well as non-profit educational providers as implementation partners in project consortia. A prerequisite for funding is a written cooperation agreement among all consortium partners and the exclusion of parallel funding from other federal, state, or EU programs. Selection is based on formal funding requirements, alignment with funding objectives, professional quality and originality, experience in international cooperation, sustainability of bilateral partnerships, plausibility of work and time plans, as well as secured overall financing. For application submission, a detailed project description, a work and time schedule, and a financing plan are required.
