Description

Within the framework of social housing promotion in Schleswig-Holstein, the state supports the development of exemplary expert reports and integrated neighborhood concepts as well as measures for renovation management in order to unlock energy-saving potentials and advance climate protection in the residential sector. Public institutions, especially municipalities classified as first or second order suburban centers, receive a non-repayable grant amounting generally to 15% up to a maximum of 20% of the eligible expenses as co-funding for the KfW funding line 432 "Energetic Urban Renewal". Eligible costs include the preparation of expert reports, concepts, and preliminary studies as well as neighborhood renovation management and accompanying qualification services provided by ARGE or IB.SH. An attractive funding rate combined with further advisory services enables pilot and model projects in Schleswig-Holstein to be initiated promptly and implemented quickly upon a positive KfW funding approval.

Applications can be submitted continuously until the special quota is exhausted. The project duration is designed for approximately 12 months. Eligible expenses include, among others, services of external experts, costs for renovation management, and qualification services. Key evaluation criteria are model character, transferability, energy-saving potential, contribution to climate protection, involvement of key stakeholders, as well as economic efficiency and own contribution. Prerequisites include, in addition to the central local function, a positive KfW funding approval for program 432 and utilization of the available qualification offers. IB.SH, in coordination with the Ministry of the Interior, Municipal Affairs, Housing and Sports, is responsible for the approval and disbursement of state funds.
