Funding for spa stays for children and adolescents

The funding of spa stays for children and adolescents in Tyrol specifically supports families in health care and prevention. For each approved spa stay until the completion of the 18th year of age, a flat-rate grant of € 75 is awarded. This offer aims to strengthen young people physically and mentally through professionally supervised health programs and to promote long-term well-being. The funding measure is based on the guidelines of the Department of Public Health of the State of Tyrol and pursues the overarching goal of sustainably supporting the health development of minors.

Eligible are private individuals with children or adolescents up to and including 17 years of age. Applications can be submitted at any time and only require proof of the spa stay in a recognized Tyrolean institution. The processing is carried out by the Department of Public Health, which is responsible for coordinating health promotion and prevention measures in the region. Through the uncomplicated flat-rate funding, families are relieved and access to health-oriented offers is facilitated. The initiative thus makes a valuable contribution to strengthening public health and preventing illnesses among young Tyroleans.
