Funding of spa stays for children and adolescents

The Public Health Department of the State of Tyrol supports socially disadvantaged children and adolescents up to the age of 18 with a flat-rate subsidy for spa stays. Upon submission of a negative rehabilitation decision, an amount of €75 is granted per spa stay. This subsidy aims to enable health rehabilitation measures and to promote equal opportunities in healthcare. Thanks to the unlimited funding option, applications can be submitted at any time, allowing individual treatment plans to be supported flexibly.

Applicants must submit the following documents: proof of income, medical certificate, negative rehabilitation decision, and confirmation of the approved spa stay. This aid is available to socially needy minors with a negative decision who undertake a spa stay in Tyrol. The straightforward processing is handled by the Public Health Department. The measure combines financial relief with the goal of providing young people with sustainable health stabilization, thereby making an important contribution to the promotion of child and youth health in Tyrol.
