Funding of Projects and Initiatives (proRWTH – Foundation of Friends and Supporters of RWTH Aachen)

The proRWTH – Foundation of Friends and Supporters of RWTH Aachen offers an uncomplicated project funding program for student initiatives, research projects, initiatives, and events at RWTH Aachen in North Rhine-Westphalia. An informal application is sufficient to request financial grants from membership fees, voluntary donations, or own funds. Decisions are made promptly and without complicated administrative procedures. Individual consultation prior to application submission helps identify suitable funding opportunities and optimally plan the use of funds.

Eligible for funding are students and other university members of RWTH Aachen who independently organize projects in the areas of Research & Innovation, Science, Education, as well as Training & Continuing Education. Public institutions and private individuals from the North Rhine-Westphalia region also benefit from this funding option if they cooperate with the university. The only prerequisite for application is affiliation with RWTH Aachen. Applications can be submitted at any time; the process supports creative initiatives in quickly turning ideas into action and sustainably enriching the university community.
