Description
The funding for renovation measures S.WFG 2025 of the State of Salzburg supports privately used residential buildings aged 15 years or older (exception: barrier-free measures) with non-repayable grants to increase energy efficiency, promote the use of renewable energy, and enable disability-friendly modernization. Owners, building rights holders, condominium owners, as well as tenants and other authorized users of main residences in the State of Salzburg can submit funding applications. Supported measures include thermal renovations of the building envelope, installation or renewal of building-central heat supply systems (e.g., biomass heating systems, heat pumps, connection to climate-friendly district heating) with associated storage units, thermal solar systems with an aperture area of more than 7 m², as well as elderly- and disability-friendly equipment including passenger lifts.
Prior to contract award, online registration in the ZEUS portal is required; subsequently, the application must be submitted within 18 months. Proofs required include existing and planned energy certificates, registration confirmation, main residence proof, land register excerpt or transfer contract, offer and invoice confirmations, as well as completion energy certificates. The funding rate is 20% of eligible costs for thermal renovations (max. €100,000 per apartment or €30,000 per housing unit) and 25% for heat supply systems, solar systems, and barrier-free measures. A minimum grant of €1,000 is provided for each measure. The funding measure is valid from 01.07.2025 and runs until the total quota of €18.5 million is exhausted.
