Description

The state of Tyrol provides an annually accessible grant funding within its budgeted resources, supporting nonprofit and social associations, federations, as well as other institutions throughout Tyrol. The funding is aimed at organizations with an exclusively nonprofit or social character, whose fields of activity range from social cohesion and democratic engagement to regional development, labor & social affairs, as well as agriculture & rural development. Approval requires that the institutions are explicitly named in the respective state budget by the Tyrolean state parliament and that their projects demonstrate effective added value for the population of the federal state.

Clear funding prerequisites apply for the application: In addition to maintaining the nonprofit profile, the funding purpose must serve the interests of the Tyrolean population in the specified thematic areas. Eligible proof of expenditure includes original invoices with payment confirmations for funding amounts up to €5,000; from €5,001 onwards, a complete balance sheet or income-expenditure statement for the respective funding year must be submitted. The funding measure has been available indefinitely since 01.01.2023, with each eligible organization entitled to submit one application per year. With a total volume exceeding €6.5 million, this program supports sustainable projects oriented towards the common good and makes an important contribution to strengthening civil society structures in Tyrol.
