The funding pursues a modular and interdisciplinary approach to mobility and encompasses the full range of possible measures – from awareness-raising initiatives and traffic safety measures to concrete service offerings and investment projects. The goal is to strengthen the cooperation of all relevant stakeholders and to embed lifelong mobility education in the public consciousness.

Description
The comprehensive funding initiative for transport and mobility projects in Carinthia supports both private and public sponsors, companies, associations, foundations, and interest groups in the implementation of innovative measures. Funding is provided for awareness-raising campaigns and traffic safety projects as well as investment initiatives in the areas of infrastructure, digitalization, and smart cities. With an interdisciplinary approach, all relevant thematic areas are covered, from regional development and agriculture to contemporary urban planning. The goal is to strengthen the collaboration of all stakeholders and to sustainably anchor awareness of lifelong mobility competence in public spaces.
From January 1, 2026, applications can be submitted continuously until the available funding volume is exhausted. Designed as a grant, the application requires a written request with a detailed project description and a convincing justification. Submission of cost evidence is necessary for disbursement. The modular funding structure allows individual adaptation to a wide range of projects – from pilot projects to comprehensive investment measures. Through strong capital support, innovative service offerings are realized and long-lasting synergies between municipalities, economic partners, and civil society organizations are created.
