Description
The program supports marketing initiatives by advertising and business associations in Vorarlberg with the aim of strengthening town and local centers as attractive locations for retail and service businesses and sustainably securing local supply. A grant of 30% of the documented expenses for joint advertising activities is awarded—up to a maximum of €16,500 per year for individual associations and up to €44,000 for cooperations involving multiple localities. Applications can be submitted continuously but must be received no later than three months after the end of the calendar year. The project duration is set at 12 months, with SMEs as well as start-up initiatives and non-profit organizations eligible to participate. A one-time funding per local center ensures that all measures are distributed fairly and implemented efficiently.
For the application, a detailed list of conducted or planned marketing activities, a budget or financial statement of the applicants, as well as proof of support from the responsible municipality must be submitted. After reviewing the final accounting, payment is made on the condition that the host municipality contributes at least 30% of the state funding to the measures. The program thus specifically supports regional economic cycles and promotes collaboration among experts from business, municipal administration, and marketing to realize innovative concepts for revitalizing town centers and to set future-oriented impulses for local supply.
