The Amt der Vorarlberger Landesregierung – Department of General Economic Affairs (VIa) is a specialized department of the Vorarlberg state administration. It directs economic policy measures, develops and manages funding programs to strengthen the regional economic structure, and advises companies in the areas of industry, trade, research & development, as well as energy and climate protection. In cooperation with credit institutions, chambers, and other authorities, the department supports investments, innovation projects, and energy efficiency measures to create jobs and promote the competitiveness of the Vorarlberg economy.

The Department of General Economic Affairs is committed to the sustainable strengthening of the Vorarlberg economy.
