Following a positive decision by the Styrian State Government, a written funding agreement is concluded, defining all obligations regarding proof of use. Disbursement is made in agreed installments upon submission of original receipts or electronic invoices. Regular monitoring by Department 12 – Economy, Tourism, Science and Research ensures efficient use of funds. For funding volumes exceeding 100,000 euros, the authority also reviews the overall management of the funded institution. Rights of reclaim and retention are contractually stipulated to ensure compliance with all conditions. With this funding initiative, the State of Styria strengthens location quality, promotes technology transfer and international networking, thereby creating sustainable framework conditions for forward-looking growth.
