Funding of Additional Projects (Dissen Foundation)

The Dissen Foundation grants forward-looking subsidies within the framework of the “Support for Further Projects” for non-profit initiatives in the district of Lower Saxony. Eligible for funding are public institutions, educational establishments, interest groups, other associations, as well as non-profit organizations implementing projects for children and youth, families, or volunteers. The foundation particularly focuses on babysitter training, self-confidence workshops in daycare centers, language courses, work with children and adolescents, and team pastoral care. With continuously open application windows, initiatives can be submitted at any time and easily realized to effectively support local actors in the social and educational sectors.

The Dissen Foundation’s funding program targets projects that strengthen social cohesion, promote social skills, and foster democratic engagement locally. The focus is on measures to enhance safety, self-confidence, and participation of young people, as well as the linguistic and personal development of families in the Dissen area. By providing financial resources, both volunteer and professional offerings are sustainably strengthened and expanded according to needs. The flexible funding structure also allows smaller ideas to be implemented at short notice, thereby sustainably enriching the diversity of the local educational and social landscape.
