Description
The funding for business associations, organizations, trade fairs, and events in Carinthia supports regional economic initiatives, digitization projects, and cross-municipal undertakings with an attractive grant of up to 50% of eligible expenses. Eligible applicants are legal entities such as business associations with at least 20 member companies, as well as natural or legal persons organizing regional trade fairs. The maximum funding amount is up to €20,000 per calendar year, with digitization measures potentially rewarded with an additional bonus of up to €2,000. Eligible costs include economic and location-promoting activities, organizational and implementation costs for trade fairs, as well as digital measures to support local businesses. Applications can be submitted continuously before the start of implementation, based on an annual plan (initiatives) or a detailed trade fair concept including an exhibitor directory. A regional office in Carinthia and alignment of the measures with the region’s economic policy objectives are mandatory.
Assessment is based on quantitative and qualitative criteria, including the number of member companies or exhibitors as well as the innovation and digitization content of the concept. A complete application includes the project description with economic relevance, financing plan, list of member companies (for initiatives), annual plan or trade fair concept including the supporting program. After successful implementation, performance and final reports as well as evidence of actual fund utilization must be submitted. This funding promotes collaboration and joint presentation of regional achievements and sustainably strengthens the Carinthian economic area through the consolidation of know-how and the creation of attractive events.
