Funding to support the activities of the Upper Austrian Press Club

The funding to support the activities of the Upper Austrian Press Club is aimed at non-profit interest groups or associations in the state of Upper Austria and seeks to sustainably strengthen the role of the Club as a central networking platform for journalists and media professionals. An annual grant covers the ongoing operating costs to maintain events, workshops, and information services. As a hub for press work and professional exchange, the Upper Austrian Press Club offers a professional environment where participants from media, culture, and communication can network, share knowledge, and discuss future topics.

For an application, an informal funding request must be submitted together with the completed funding declaration FinD/E-2. Funding applications must be received by the Office of the Upper Austrian State Government, Directorate Presidium, Department of Communication and Media, no later than December 1 of the current year. Eligible expenses include in particular all ongoing operating costs directly related to the activities of the Press Club. The obligation to provide proof of appropriate use (e.g., by submitting the annual financial statement) ensures transparent use of funds. The funding is provided within the framework of the General Funding Guidelines of the State of Upper Austria and is available indefinitely. With an annual total volume of €15,000, the State of Upper Austria makes a continuous contribution to strengthening the regional media landscape.
