Description

Since 1999, the Foundation of the Kreissparkasse Fallingbostel in Walsrode has been supporting diverse and community-oriented projects in the former district of Fallingbostel. With a broad range of funding areas, spanning from environmental and nature conservation to sports, energy efficiency & climate protection, as well as culture and media, the foundation aims to strengthen regional engagement and promote the sustainable development of the region. The focus of the funding is on initiatives that include cultural, conservation-related, and social measures, thereby contributing to a vibrant community. These grants are exclusively directed at non-profit organizations active in the region that can provide a detailed financing plan along with additional information about the project.

The foundation’s funding practice is based on ongoing, written applications. Projects in the fields of art and culture, heritage preservation, as well as sports, environmental protection, and other socially relevant areas receive support here. Particular emphasis is placed on a comprehensive financing plan that transparently outlines total costs, existing own funds, and potential additional sponsors. Furthermore, proof of a tax-deductible donation receipt is a prerequisite for application submission. Through this transparent approach, the foundation ensures that funding is used purposefully and sustainably to promote regional cohesion.

Funding applications can be submitted at any time, providing flexibility and planning security for non-profit organizations. The written submission of a detailed funding application allows all relevant aspects of a project – from the brief title to the schedule and cost planning – to be clearly presented. In this way, every measure has the opportunity to be supported regardless of the season or a fixed application period. Funding areas such as environmental/nature conservation, sports, energy efficiency & climate protection, as well as culture & media enjoy a particularly favorable funding climate that not only supports the preservation and economic use of regional ideas but also advances forward-looking and socio-cultural development in the Fallingbostel area. This targeted allocation of grants attests to the foundation’s long-standing commitment to sustainably supporting and further developing the region’s diverse projects.
