Description

Within the framework of the funding program Level Up – Adult Education, the City of Vienna provides grants to non-profit, non-commercial institutions for courses in basic education and for completing compulsory schooling. The aim is to impart fundamental skills in German, mathematics, and digital applications to adults, as well as to facilitate access to recognized qualifications. Through the continuous submission of applications, educational providers can respond flexibly to needs and implement new course formats promptly. This funding is intended to optimally utilize existing resources and strengthen sustainable educational structures in Vienna.

Only organizations recognized by the accreditation group according to § 15a B-VG and whose offerings have a substantive, institutional, or geographical connection to Vienna are eligible for funding. A prerequisite for approval is also the acceptance and statutory signing of the funding guidelines of MA 13. As a grant, the program partially covers expenses for teaching materials, instructors’ fees, and administrative costs. In this way, associations, educational providers, and other non-profit initiatives are encouraged to design their adult education offerings according to demand and to sustainably promote learner participation. Further information on detailed application procedures, accreditation requirements, deadlines, and funding modalities is available through the service offerings of MA 13 and the Adult Education Initiative.
