Description
The Styrian Chamber of Agricultural Workers provides nationwide interest-free loans and non-repayable grants for dependent employees in agriculture and forestry. Funding areas include residential construction, infrastructure (electricity, water, and sewer connections), environmental protection measures with renewable energies, as well as the furnishing of living spaces. Additionally, support is offered for education and training, job-related professional literature, emergency aid, loyalty bonuses, and special programs such as driving license and apprentice support. The maximum funding amount per measure is up to €20,100, with a funding rate of 100%. Monthly repayment installments for loans amount to €75 (or €90 for furnishing loans). Applications can be submitted at any time; there is no lead time or deadline restriction.
Eligible for funding are members of the Styrian Chamber of Agricultural Workers with their main residence in Austria, who have paid chamber contributions for at least three years within the last five years and are currently fully insured employees. For residential construction and investment projects, a registrable proof of ownership is required; for loans, a promissory note and standing order confirmation are necessary. For education and training grants as well as professional book funding, the application form with invoice receipts suffices. Emergency aid supports chamber members and their dependents who have fallen into hardship through no fault of their own (ranging between €73 and €730). Loyalty bonuses recognize long service periods starting at 25 years (graduated up to 55 years). With gender-neutral language, a comprehensive range of funding, and simple application procedures, this program offers practical support for the domestic agriculture and forestry sectors.
