Funding and Applications (informal) – Dieter and Bettina Wulkow Foundation

The Dieter and Bettina Wulkow Foundation offers private and non-profit actors, educational institutions, as well as public institutions nationwide the opportunity to submit informal applications for financial support at any time. Projects are funded in the areas of child and youth welfare, humanitarian aid, education, and social measures that sustainably empower disadvantaged children and youth, orphans, and street children. Decisions are based on an assessment of need and budget availability; a prerequisite is alignment with the mission-related purpose of the foundation, which aims to improve the life and educational opportunities of young people growing up under precarious conditions. The foundation seeks to support both national initiatives as well as international educational and social projects, relying on as uncomplicated procedures as possible.

To apply, an informal funding application, a detailed project description, and proof of specific funding needs must be submitted. The foundation’s committees continuously review incoming applications according to the criteria of purpose conformity, urgency of need, and available budget. Thanks to this flexible approach, aid and educational initiatives can be implemented without fixed application deadlines.
