Funding for investment measures for nursing and care homes

The investment grants for nursing and care homes in Upper Austria support public institutions and foundations in the construction, renovation, as well as conversion and extension of stationary care facilities. Beneficiaries include care home operators such as social welfare associations, statutory cities, municipalities, and religious orders, who undertake costly construction and foundation work. Prerequisites are the status of care home operator (social welfare association, statutory city, municipality, or religious order) and the submission of an annual construction progress report. Upon project completion, a final accounting is required, supplemented by invoices for all investments. The review is conducted by the Social Department of the Upper Austrian state government, which issues the grant notice based on the recognized construction costs. Interested institutions receive detailed information on the legal bases (Upper Austrian Social Welfare Act, Nursing and Care Regulation, General Funding Guidelines) and refer to the variable reference values to ensure efficient project implementation.
