Description
The funding contributions from the State of Carinthia support the non-profit association Health Service for Livestock Carinthia (GDN-K) in covering ongoing operating costs as well as personnel expenses, while simultaneously helping to specifically address animal health problem areas within the federal state. These grants strengthen key services for monitoring, documentation, and consultation in the field of livestock health. As a member of the GDN-K board, the Office of the Carinthian State Government acts together with the Chamber of Agriculture and the Regional Chamber of Veterinarians of Carinthia in accordance with the Animal Health Service Ordinance 2009. This partnership ensures that the funds are aligned with the principle of cost coverage and are used in close coordination with the internal requirements of the association.
The grant is exclusively directed to the GDN-K office as the recipient and is continuously approved without a fixed end date. Participation requires membership on the GDN-K board according to the provisions of the Animal Health Service Ordinance 2009 as well as fulfillment of the internal requirements for financing program costs. The continuous provision of state funds guarantees reliable planning security for the association and significantly contributes to maintaining a functional animal health service in Carinthia. Applications may have been submitted since January 1, 2014, and are accepted on an ongoing basis, ensuring uninterrupted support.
