With the Funding Contribution for Vocational Training – School and Business, the state of Burgenland provides a continuously available grant program that supports innovative projects in the fields of education and training. Eligible to apply are companies, educational institutions, and non-profit organizations that submit an informal application along with a detailed description of the planned project. Original invoices and receipts must be presented for accounting purposes. As a direct funding in the form of a grant, the submitted project costs are covered in whole or in part. Since the initiative is permanently open, the project can be scheduled individually and coordinated with economic partners. Through the financial support, a sustainable network is established between schools and companies, offering compulsory school leavers diverse training perspectives and securing the skilled workforce in Burgenland in the long term.
