Description
With the Funding Contribution for Vocational Training – School and Business, the state of Burgenland provides a continuously available grant program that supports innovative projects in the fields of education and training. The focus is on measures that offer students, especially compulsory school leavers, practical insights into various training opportunities and promote both professional and social skills. Whether company visits, internship workshops, or informational events with experts from the business sector: the program opens direct contacts to regional companies, demonstrates concrete occupational profiles, and facilitates the transition between school-based education and professional life. Thanks to the unlimited submission period, the project can be flexibly adapted to school planning, ensuring optimal project implementation in Burgenland.
Eligible to apply are companies, educational institutions, and non-profit organizations that submit an informal application along with a detailed description of the planned project. Original invoices and receipts must be presented for accounting purposes. As a direct funding in the form of a grant, the submitted project costs are covered in whole or in part. Since the initiative is permanently open, the project can be scheduled individually and coordinated with economic partners. Through the financial support, a sustainable network is established between schools and companies, offering compulsory school leavers diverse training perspectives and securing the skilled workforce in Burgenland in the long term.
