Fund of the Oderbruch Foundation (Local Fund, Thematic Fund, Cooperation Fund, Individual Fund)

The Oderbruch Foundation supports nonprofit initiatives in Brandenburg through four tailored fund models designed to meet the complex needs of the Oderbruch region. The Local Fund assists clubs and initiatives directly on site by strengthening municipal structures such as towns, offices, and villages. The Thematic Fund finances projects with a specific focus – ranging from culture and monument preservation to sports and education – that collaboratively develop the region’s cultural heritage and future viability together with local stakeholders. Cooperative networks are supported by the Cooperation Fund, which enables logistical, organizational, or financial collaborations among various partners. Finally, the Individual Fund offers customized funding priorities, where donors jointly determine with the foundation’s board how proceeds are specifically allocated to implement sustainable projects.

Applications may be submitted at any time, provided the project is nonprofit and located in or actively anchored in the Oderbruch. The decision on funding is made by the foundation coordinator in agreement with the foundation board. The Oderbruch Foundation’s fund thus makes a valuable contribution to strengthening civic engagement and rural development in Brandenburg. Nonprofit organizations, clubs, and interest groups receive targeted grants to realize innovative initiatives in agriculture, regional cooperation, or cultural educational work.
