Description

The Ursula and Werner Schanné Foundation is awarding, for the first time in Saarland, a research prize unique in its focus on neurosurgery, which supports scientific projects at the Neurosurgical Clinic of the University Hospital of Saarland. The aim is to gain novel insights into the development of brain tumors, optimize diagnostic procedures, and advance innovative therapeutic approaches. Special emphasis is placed on genetic and epigenetic analyses that are intended to pave the way for personalized treatment concepts.
