The Research Funding Fund of the Private Medical University of Salzburg (PMU) continuously supports innovative research projects in the state of Salzburg through financial grants. The aim is to strengthen excellent research personnel at the PMU as well as at the Salzburg State Hospitals and to advance scientific innovations. The funds are awarded through a transparent allocation procedure, which is based on the guidelines of the “PMU Research Funding Fund Allocation Directive” and includes various funding categories. Following positive evaluation, project results must be demonstrated by a detailed final report within six weeks after the end of the funding period.
