Description
The Adolf Todt Foundation was established in 1988 by Hoechst AG on the occasion of its 125th company anniversary and aims to directly support science at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz. In the form of research scholarships, it enables early-career researchers at JGU to stay at selected partner universities both domestically and abroad. Two scholarships are available annually, covering the costs of the stay and thus promoting international exchange as well as the networking of excellent research teams.
Funding is provided to all early-career researchers with a permanent affiliation to Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz who plan a research stay at one of the partner institutions. Applications can be submitted once a year; exact deadlines and further award conditions are provided upon request. The scholarship is granted as a non-repayable grant and is exclusively intended to cover travel and living expenses during the stay abroad. This funding opens up outstanding scientific opportunities and sustainably strengthens the career development of doctoral candidates and postdocs.
